Okay, so I was revisiting my first few posts on this blog for akito-only-knows-why and found an answer to my question from onewordtest that I never saw before (I love this response by the way). This reblog made me think back to why I created this blog in the first place. You see, all the people in the real world that I interact with have never before shared my views of Fruits Basket. They would always talk about the romantic elements or the zodiac transformations. They never really got to the core of the series, the psychology and advice along with the connections and feelings (whether romantic or platonic) between characters when interacting with one another.
Now at first I was under the assumption that I wouldn’t get many followers. I thought I might have 20 if I was lucky. But here I am with over 220! Wow this has (as cheesy as it sounds) restored some of my faith in humanity a bit, or maybe just in fruit basket fans lol. I don’t feel so alone anymore with my deep passion for this show’s deeper meanings. It’s like you guys feel it too, so thank you for liking my blog. Really, thank you so much!
I’m so glad there’s like a community out there that likes to discuss the tougher, more tumultuous side of the series. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a sucker for romance, but it’s the character development, relationship building, and exploration of internal demons and emotions that’s really stuck with me over the years.
